Wayne has been posted all over Australia, serving with various units including training establishments, deployable units, radar locating and communications units.

Peter Buttery
DIRECTOR
Peter was born in London and migrated to Perth as one of 6 children. Prior to joining the Australian Army in 1984 he relocated many times throughout Australia and New Zealand. During the family movements and starting at a very young age Peter distilled a strong work ethic as a paperboy in the hilly suburbs of Auckland, then delivering milk, as a fast-food cook and then a retail trainee. With a desire to work he often found himself performing more than one job at a time, even while in the Army, unable to resist an opportunity and creating his own business.
Serving as a soldier in the regular Army for 20 years and then as a Commissioned Officer in the Reserves for another 8 years, Peter has exceptional skills in providing contractor support in doctrine writing, disposals, auditing, and logistics planning. While serving his country and after he has developed very strong leadership capabilities which served him and the teams he managed to achieve and exceed expectations. Drawing on his Defence experience, for the past 17 years Peter has been contracting back into Defence and providing a dedication to supporting Defence Disposal Organisation and managing the R&B team of consultants. Peter continues to engage in various contracting roles with CASG and NSSG.
Peter lives to a personal motto “The actions or attitudes of others will not affect the way I treat them or other people: with courage, respect, dignity and generosity.”
